These terms govern access to feedvaultdrift.pro and to in-room services branded Chalk Ledger operated by Feed Vault Drift Pte. Ltd. By using the website or the reading room, you agree to these terms and to the privacy notice. If you disagree, do not use the services.
1. Services described
Feed Vault Drift maintains a custodial news archive: public material is filed, indexed, and made available for reading and written handover. The website publishes orientation material — currents register excerpts, shelf descriptions, drift methodology, and visitor letters. It is not a live wire service and does not guarantee completeness of the public record.
In-room services include shelf pulls, drift line documentation, and stamped copies subject to desk capacity and the scope rules in the Reading Room letter. Separate written terms apply to institutional recurring pulls.
2. Acceptable use
You agree not to: disrupt desk operations or website availability; attempt unauthorised access to systems or folios; scrape the site in ways that impair service; misrepresent affiliation with Feed Vault Drift; use handover material to harass individuals named in archived documents; or republish outlet text in violation of original publisher copyright.
Reasonable automated access for accessibility is permitted. Bulk download robots are not permitted without prior written agreement.
3. No professional advice
Archive handovers and website content are general information retrieved from public sources. Nothing here is legal, medical, financial, or investment advice. Verify critical facts independently before decisions with consequences.
4. Intellectual property
Feed Vault Drift owns site structure, original desk notes, ledger layout, and drift methodology descriptions. Third-party news content remains with respective publishers. You may cite our handover codes with attribution; republication of third-party text requires compliance with publisher terms.
5. Accuracy and corrections
We strive for accurate filing and register entries. Errors should be reported to [email protected] with ref codes. Our corrections practice is described in the Reading Room — we do not silently edit completed handovers.
6. Availability
Website and desk hours may change for maintenance, public holidays, or safety. We post material schedule changes on the Drift Desk page when feasible. No uptime guarantee is offered for the website.
7. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by Singapore law, Feed Vault Drift is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the site or handovers. Aggregate direct liability is limited to fees paid to us for the specific handover giving rise to the claim, or zero for standard walk-in services without fee.
Nothing excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any liability that cannot be excluded by law.
8. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify Feed Vault Drift against claims arising from your misuse of handover material, violation of these terms, or infringement of third-party rights through your republication — except where caused by our gross negligence or wilful misconduct.
9. Third-party services
Embedded maps (Google) and hosting providers are third-party services subject to their terms. Enable functional cookies only if you accept their processing as described in the cookie notice.
10. Personal data
Processing of personal data is described in the privacy notice. Cookie preferences are managed via the site banner and cookie notice page.
11. Termination
We may suspend access for breach of these terms or for behaviour that threatens staff, visitors, or folio integrity. You may stop using services at any time. Provisions on liability, intellectual property, and governing law survive termination.
12. Changes
We may update these terms with a new effective date posted here. Material changes to in-room scope will also be noted on the Reading Room letter revision date. Continued use after posting constitutes acceptance where permitted.
13. Governing law and disputes
Singapore law governs. Parties attempt good-faith written resolution within thirty days before court proceedings in Singapore, unless urgent injunctive relief is required.
14. Severability
If any clause is unenforceable, the remainder stays in effect. The unenforceable clause is replaced with one closest to the original intent that is enforceable.
15. Entire agreement
For website use, these terms together with the privacy and cookie notices form the entire agreement unless a separate signed memo applies to your institution. For walk-in services, the Reading Room letter describes operational expectations complementary to these terms.
16. Visitor conduct in the reading room
Walk-in users must follow desk officer directions on folio handling, photography, and noise. Material may not leave the room except through authorised copies. Attempts to re-shelve or remove folios without logging violate these terms and may result in permanent refusal of service and referral to authorities where theft or damage occurs.
Children under sixteen should be accompanied by a responsible adult unless prior arrangement exists with an educational institution. The room is a working archive, not a public lounge — courtesy to other researchers is required.
17. Website content licence
You may link to our pages with accurate attribution. You may not frame the site, imply endorsement, or scrape register tables into commercial databases without written permission. Original prose on this site is copyright Feed Vault Drift Pte. Ltd.; short quotation for criticism or review is permitted with attribution under fair dealing principles applicable in Singapore.
18. Force majeure
We are not liable for delays caused by events outside reasonable control — including network outages, public health directions, utility failures, or civil emergencies — provided we resume service when practicable and communicate material desk closures on the Drift Desk page when possible.
19. Notices
Material changes to these terms are posted on this page with an updated effective date. Where a change affects an active handover, we email the address on the intake log when practicable. Continued use of the website after notice constitutes acceptance of the revised terms for browsing activities. Handover holders may request a plain-language summary of changes that touch their active folio.
20. Assignment
Feed Vault Drift may assign these terms in connection with a reorganisation or sale of the archive operation, provided the assignee assumes obligations to existing handover holders. We will post notice of material assignment on this page.
